Power washing that cleans without wrecking the surface

Green algae on the north side, black streaks under the gutters, a patio you stopped using because it looks grey. Most of it comes off in an afternoon — as long as whoever's holding the wand knows when to back the pressure down.

What we wash

Surfaces we clean regularly on Long Island

Anything that's been sitting outside through a few Long Island seasons is a candidate.

House siding

Vinyl, aluminum, cedar and fiber cement. Removes mildew, algae, pollen, salt film and the grey chalk that dulls the color.

Decks & railings

Washed and brightened, and ready for stain or sealer if you want it done at the same time.

Patios, pavers & walkways

Concrete, bluestone, brick and paver surfaces cleaned of moss, algae, mildew and years of ground-in dirt.

Driveways

Concrete and paver driveways brought back from grey and streaked to something that matches the rest of the property.

Fences

Vinyl and wood fencing washed of algae and dirt — a fast way to make a backyard look maintained again.

Prep before painting

Every exterior paint job starts with a wash — so if the house is due for both, we handle them on one schedule.

Pressure matters

Too much pressure does damage you can't undo.

A pressure washer will absolutely take dirt off vinyl siding. It will also drive water behind it, etch soft wood, blow out mortar joints and strip the surface off a paver if you use the wrong tip and stand too close.

  • Pressure, tip and distance adjusted for each material
  • Low-pressure soft washing where the surface calls for it
  • Plants, lights, outlets and furniture protected before we start
  • Consistent passes so you don't end up with stripes and missed patches
  • Rinse-down and cleanup when the job's done

Before & after

Same patio, one afternoon apart

Backyard paver patio covered in grey-green algae, dirt in the joints and dark staining under the furniture.
